It's designed to handle the pressures of high-output engines, and because it's made from multiple layers of stainless steel with a Viton rubber coating, it creates a strong seal without needing any extra sealants.
This gasket is built to work well whether you're mating aluminum heads to an aluminum block or to a cast iron block.
