This product is a Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket designed for Honda K20 and K24 engines. It features an 89mm bore and a compressed operating thickness of 0.027 inches, making it suitable for specific Acura and Honda models including the 2003-2014 Honda CR-V.

Comprised of multiple embossed stainless steel layers, this gasket offers strong sealing performance for high-output engines. The outer layers are coated with Viton, a heat-resistant rubber material capable of withstanding temperatures up to 482°F (250°C) and handling harsh sealing environments. The center layer is uncoated stainless steel, allowing for varied thickness requirements. These MLS gaskets are well-suited for applications with aluminum heads to aluminum blocks, or aluminum heads to cast iron blocks, as they can manage the shearing forces between different metals. They do not require additional sealants for installation.
