This is a Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket, specifically designed for the left-hand side of Jaguar AJ26, AJ27, and AJ33 series engines. It features a 93mm bore and a compressed thickness of 0.040 inches, making it suitable for a range of Jaguar models like the XJ8, XK8, and S-Type from the late 90s through the late 2000s.

Cometic MLS head gaskets are built for high-output engines and don't require any additional sealants. They are constructed from multiple layers of stainless steel, which gives them increased strength and the ability to resist corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated with Viton, a heat-resistant rubber material that can handle tough sealing environments up to 482°F (250°C).
