This Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket is what you get when you need a solid seal for your Mazda B6D, B6T, or B6ZE engine. It's built with multiple layers of stainless steel, which gives it strength and helps it resist corrosion. The outer layers are coated on both sides with Viton, a heat-resistant rubber material that can handle tough sealing jobs and different surface finishes without needing any extra sealants.
The center layer is stainless steel and can be varied in thickness to meet different needs; this particular gasket has a compressed operating thickness of 0.036 inches and is 0.066 inches thick before compression, with an 80mm bore.
