Cometic Mitsubishi 4G63/4G63T .086in MLS Cylinder Head Gasket - 86mm Bore - DOHC - Except Evo 4-9

This is a Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket designed for Mitsubishi 4G63 and 4G63T engines with an 86mm bore. It's built to handle the demands of DOHC configurations, though it's important to note it's not for the Evo 4-9 models. This gasket fits a range of vehicles, including certain Mitsubishi Eclipse models from 1999 and various Volvo 140 and 240 series cars from the late 60s and early 70s.

Cometic constructs this gasket using three to five layers of stainless steel. This material choice offers increased strength and resistance to corrosion, while also providing good rebound characteristics. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with a Viton rubber material. This coating is designed to perform well in tough sealing environments, under various loads, and on different surface finishes, with a heat resistance up to 482°F (250°C).
