This Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket is designed for your 1977-1982 Porsche 924. It features an 88mm bore and a compressed thickness of 0.036 inches, providing a solid seal for the cylinder head to the engine block. MLS gaskets are built with multiple layers of stainless steel, offering increased strength and resistance to corrosion. They are ideal for use with aluminum heads and blocks, or aluminum heads on cast iron blocks, as they can handle the stresses that arise from dissimilar materials.

The outer layers of this gasket are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton, a heat-resistant rubber material that can handle temperatures up to 482°F (250°C).
