It features a .070 inch thickness and a 96mm bore, designed to provide a strong seal between your cylinder head and engine block. This gasket is a key component for maintaining proper compression and preventing coolant and oil leaks.
Cometic constructs this gasket from three to five layers of stainless steel. This material choice offers increased strength and resistance to corrosion, while also providing good rebound characteristics.
