This Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket from Cometic is built with embossed outer layers coated in Viton, a heat-resistant rubber material rated up to 482°F. It has a compressed operating thickness of 0.027 inches and a 92mm bore, making it a solid choice for your Toyota 20R or 22R engine rebuild. MLS gaskets are well-suited for applications with aluminum heads and cast iron blocks, as they can handle the shearing forces that can occur between dissimilar metals.
