COMP Cams 09+ Dodge Hemi 5.7/6.4 V8 VVT Stage 2 HRT 229/237 Hydraulic Roller Master Cam Kit

This is the COMP Cams HRT Turbo Stage 2 Hydraulic Roller Master Cam Kit, designed for 2009 and newer Dodge 5.7L and 6.4L HEMI V8 engines with Variable Valve Timing (VVT). This kit includes the camshaft itself, which features advanced lobe designs from COMP Cams for significant power and torque increases, especially when paired with turbo or supercharger setups. The kit also incorporates "Low Shock Technology" (LST) lobe profiles, which are engineered to maximize horsepower while maintaining stability at higher RPMs. These profiles are also gentler on your valve springs, helping to extend their life and reduce load loss.

The camshafts in this kit undergo a Micro Surface Enhancement (MSE) finishing process. This treatment reduces surface roughness, increasing the effective load-bearing area by 250%. This results in improved strength and performance, allowing the camshaft to handle higher loads reliably. This particular kit is designated as Stage 2, making it suitable for builds targeting larger turbochargers and optimized for low backpressure hot side configurations. It has been dyno tested to perform well beyond 7500 RPM.

It's important to note that this master kit requires additional components for proper installation and operation. You will need a COMP Cams DOD Delete Kit, upgraded valve springs (COMP Cams recommends their 7230 springs), and either a COMP Cams phaser limiter or lock kit for the 5.7L-6.4L VVT engines. This camshaft is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
