This kit is designed for Pontiac 265 to 455 cubic inch V8 engines, giving you a significant performance boost for street or strip use.

This isn't a mild upgrade; the 243/257 duration cam profile is built for serious power. To make the most of it, you'll want to pair it with at least 9.5:1 compression, a torque converter with a 2800+ RPM stall speed, an upgraded intake manifold, suitable rear end gears, and headers. Expect a very rough idle, which is part of the signature sound and feel of a cam this aggressive.
