This particular kit features the CB 306S camshaft, a solid flat tappet grind that's well-suited for bracket racing or Pro Street applications. It works best with engines running 10.5:1 or higher compression, a tunnel ram intake, and a 3500+ stall torque converter or a 4-speed manual transmission. For optimal performance, COMP Cams recommends pairing it with 11:1 or higher compression and a gear ratio of 4.10 or lower.
