COMP Cams Cam & Lifter Kit CS 252H

This COMP Cams High Energy hydraulic flat tappet cam and lifter kit is built around a camshaft with a 206-degree intake and 206-degree exhaust duration. This design is specifically tuned for Chevrolet Small Block engines ranging from 327 to 400 cubic inches, aiming for strong torque output and excellent mileage, especially when paired with higher axle ratios. It’s engineered to provide a smooth idle, making it a solid choice for street applications where drivability is key.

The kit includes the camshaft, matching hydraulic lifters, assembly lube to ensure proper break-in, and decals. This setup is designed for Gen 1 Small Block Chevrolet engines that use a flat tappet camshaft system. It's important to verify your engine's configuration, as many later models, particularly from the mid-80s onward, transitioned to factory roller camshafts. This kit is not compatible with LT1/LT4 engines or factory roller Small Blocks. For 1955-1957 Chevrolet 265 engines, a specific oiling groove on the 5th cam journal is required.
