The camshaft features a 230-degree intake and 230-degree exhaust duration at .050 inch lift, a common specification for a strong street performance profile that offers a noticeable improvement in power without being overly aggressive for daily driving.

For optimal performance with this camshaft, COMP Cams recommends pairing it with a 4-speed manual transmission or an automatic transmission with a 2800+ RPM stall converter. You'll also want to consider a gear ratio between 3.40 and 4.10, along with an aftermarket intake manifold and headers to help your engine breathe freely. This combination will allow the camshaft's design to really shine, providing improved throttle response and a broader power band.
