This is the COMP Cams CB 305Ah-10 hydraulic flat tappet camshaft, built for Chevrolet Big Block 396 to 454 cubic inch engines. It's a popular choice for marine applications, especially jet boats, and also sees use in river drag racing and bracket racing setups. If you're looking to build a tunnel ram setup, this camshaft can help you get there.
This camshaft features a 253-degree intake and 260-degree exhaust duration at .050 lift, with .462 inches of lift on both the intake and exhaust sides. It's designed to work with engines originally equipped with flat tappet camshafts. The well-built construction means it's ready for the demands of performance applications. Keep in mind that this camshaft is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. Also, note that models from 1965-1966 with an oiling groove in the rear journal require a different camshaft; please contact us if you need assistance with those specific applications.
