COMP Cams Camshaft CB Nostalgia Pluss Zl

This is the COMP Cams Nostalgia Plus camshaft, part number 11-573-5, designed for Chevrolet Big Block engines like the 396 and 454. It's a solid flat tappet camshaft that updates the legendary ZL-1 camshaft with modern lobe designs for improved performance over the original.

This camshaft fits a wide range of Chevrolet vehicles originally equipped with flat tappet camshafts, including models like the 1967-1975 Chevrolet Bel Air, 1967-1973 Chevrolet Chevelle, and 1967-1974 Chevrolet Corvette. The updated lobe profiles offer a noticeable improvement compared to the vintage ZL-1 cam, providing better lift and duration characteristics for a more responsive engine.

Please note that this camshaft is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. Also, models from 1965-1966 with a 396 c.i.d. engine that have an oiling groove in the rear journal will require a different camshaft; please contact us if you need assistance with those specific applications.
