It's important to note that this camshaft is intended for engines with flat tappet camshafts; it does not fit factory roller Small Blocks from 1985 and newer, nor does it fit any LS-based engines. If you have a 1955-1957 Chevrolet 265 engine, you'll need to confirm if the 5th cam journal has an oiling groove, as this is required for proper lubrication.
