It's specifically tuned for engines in the 327-358 cubic inch range with an 11:1 compression ratio, running on gas or alcohol with a 2 or 4-barrel carburetor.
This camshaft features a 252/256 degree duration at 0.050 inch lift, which is a popular choice for modified applications where quick response and good low-end torque are crucial for getting out of corners.
