The CS 285Tk-R6 features a 257-degree intake and 266-degree exhaust duration at .050 lift, with a .632/.632 lift profile, making it a strong performer for its intended use. Using cast or steel gears without similar surface treatments will void all warranties and return policies, so ensure you have the correct gear installed to protect your investment.
This camshaft fits a wide range of Chevrolet Small Block Gen 1 engines, including popular displacements like the 350 and 400 cubic inch variants, as well as many others from 262 to 400. However, it does not fit LT1/LT4 engines or factory roller small blocks from 1985 and newer. It also excludes LS-based engines. For 1955-1957 Chevrolet 265 engines, a specific oiling groove is required on the rear journal; please contact us if your application needs this feature.
