This camshaft fits a wide range of Chevrolet Small Block Gen 1 applications, including popular models like the Camaro, Corvette, and C10, but it's important to verify fitment for your specific vehicle as it does not fit LT1/LT4 or factory roller small blocks from 1985 and newer.

The Magnum 255/255 is a solid roller camshaft, which generally offers more aggressive lift and duration compared to flat tappet designs, allowing for better airflow and higher RPM potential. For this camshaft, it's crucial to use a Melanized or Nitrided distributor gear.
