This COMP Cams OWM T/C Series camshaft, part number 12-842-14, is a solid roller camshaft specifically designed for open wheel modified racing applications. It's built for engines ranging from 355 to 383 cubic inches with a compression ratio of 12:1 or higher, and requires a good intake manifold and cylinder heads to perform optimally. This camshaft is intended for racers who need a broad torque curve with strong power delivery while also aiming to reduce tire spin, effectively acting as a legal traction control system for modified classes.

The OWM T/C Series represents an advanced approach to camshaft technology for open wheel modified racers. This particular camshaft features a 4/7 firing order swap, which is beneficial for power and durability when using a solid roller valve train setup. This camshaft fits a wide range of Chevrolet GEN 1 Small Block engines, including popular displacements like the 350, 327, and 305. However, it does not fit LT1/LT4 engines or factory roller small blocks from 1985 and newer, as GM transitioned to roller cams gradually. You may need to remove the intake manifold or timing cover to confirm if your block is a factory roller or flat tappet design. It also does not fit LS-based engines.
