It includes everything you need to swap out your old camshaft and get a significant performance improvement.

This kit features their Magnum 244/244 hydraulic roller camshaft, which is designed to work with a 3000+ RPM stall torque converter, a 3.90 gear ratio, and aftermarket intake and headers. Expect a very rough idle with this setup, indicating its aggressive nature for performance driving. The kit is comprehensive, containing the camshaft itself, hydraulic roller lifters, valve springs, retainers, valve locks, valve stem seals, a timing chain set, and assembly lube. It also comes with decals and instructions to guide you through the installation process.

This camshaft kit fits a wide range of Chevrolet Gen 1 Small Block engines, including popular displacements like the 350, 400, and 305. It's important to verify your specific engine's configuration, as GM gradually introduced factory roller camshafts from the mid-80s onward. This kit is intended for engines that originally came with a flat tappet camshaft. It is not compatible with LT1/LT4 engines or factory roller small blocks from 1985 and newer, nor is it for LS-based engines. For 1955-1957 Chevrolet 265 engines, a specific oiling groove modification may be required on the 5th cam journal.
