COMP Cams Camshaft Kit CS XS256H-10

If you're looking to get more torque out of your Chevrolet Gen 1 Small Block engine, this COMP Cams Xtreme Energy CS XS256H-10 Camshaft Kit is a solid option. This kit is designed to give you strong torque through the low end and mid-range, while still maintaining a good idle. It's a popular choice for a wide range of Chevrolet and GM vehicles, including models like the Chevrolet C10, Camaro, and Caprice, as well as Buick Roadmaster and Cadillac Fleetwood models.

This is a complete kit, meaning you get everything you need to swap out your old camshaft and get your engine running with improved performance. Inside the box, you'll find the camshaft itself, lifters, valve springs, retainers, valve locks, valve stem seals, and a timing chain set. COMP Cams also includes assembly lube for flat tappet applications and installation instructions to guide you through the process. It's important to note that this kit is specifically for flat tappet camshaft engines. It does not fit factory roller Small Blocks from 1985 and newer, nor does it fit any LS-based engines. Always double-check your engine's configuration by removing the intake or timing cover if you're unsure whether you have a factory roller or flat tappet setup.
