COMP Cams Camshaft Kit Dodge 5.7/6.1L HRT 221/229 Stage 1

This COMP Cams HRT Turbo Stage 1 Hydraulic Roller Camshaft Kit (CK112-330-11) is designed for Dodge 5.7L and 6.1L HEMI engines, specifically for 2003-2008 models. It's a perfect choice for a stock bottom end with a responsive street-type turbo system, delivering excellent throttle response and noticeable power gains. This kit utilizes the newest lobe designs from COMP Cams, featuring their "Low Shock Technology" (LST) which aims to maximize horsepower while improving stability at higher RPMs. These LST profiles are also engineered to be easier on your valve springs, which can help improve durability and reduce load loss over time.

The camshafts in this kit also receive the Micro Surface Enhancement (MSE) finishing process. This process increases strength and performance by reducing surface peak roughness and provides a significant improvement in the effective load-bearing area, allowing for much higher loads. This kit is organized into stages, and this Stage 1 option is suited for builds ranging from mild street use up to more heavily modified applications. It's important to note that all HRT Turbo & Supercharger Camshafts require a COMP Cams DOD Delete Kit and upgraded valve springs, such as the recommended 26918 springs.
