COMP Cams Camshaft Kit FS 305H

This is the COMP Cams FS 305H Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft Kit, part number K31-331-4. It's designed for Ford 221, 255, 260, 289, and 302 small block engines, fitting a wide range of vehicles from classic Broncos and F-150s to Fairlanes and Country Squires. This kit is built for performance applications, specifically intended for limited street use or bracket racing where a radical idle and strong top-end power are desired.

The FS 305H camshaft features a 253-degree intake and exhaust duration, making it suitable for engines with around 11:1 compression. It works well with a manual transmission or an automatic transmission equipped with a 3500+ RPM stall converter. This kit comes complete with everything you need to get the job done: the camshaft itself, lifters, valve springs, retainers, valve locks, valve stem seals, a timing chain set, and assembly lube. You'll also find decals and instructions included to help guide you through the installation process.

For optimal performance with this camshaft, COMP Cams recommends a compression ratio of 10.5:1 or higher. The aggressive nature of this cam will result in a noticeable and radical idle, which is characteristic of its drag race or performance street tuning.
