This kit is designed for the Ford 5.0L Windsor engine and aims for mild performance gains with a noticeable, but not overwhelming, lope at idle. Inside this K-Kit, you'll find the camshaft itself, along with hydraulic roller lifters, valve springs, retainers, valve locks, and valve stem seals. To ensure proper timing, a timing chain set is included, and for flat tappet applications, assembly lube is also part of the package. COMP Cams also throws in decals and instructions to help guide you through the installation. This setup is designed to work with a stock torque converter, but you'll see the best results with an 1800+ stall converter and lower rear-end gears to take full advantage of the improved performance.
