This COMP Cams XE270B camshaft set features a 234/232 degree intake/exhaust duration with a 113-degree lobe separation angle. This design is built for serious horsepower and torque gains in Ford 4.6L, 5.4L, and 5.8L Modular 4-valve engines. It's a hydraulic roller finger follower camshaft, meaning it uses roller bearings on the follower to reduce friction and allow for more aggressive cam profiles. This translates to better performance when you're pushing your engine hard.

When you install these cams, expect a noticeable increase in power, but also be aware that this is a high-performance part. It's designed for hot performance and will result in a rougher idle compared to stock. To get the most out of this camshaft set and ensure proper operation, you'll need to make some supporting modifications.
