If you're building a max-effort street or strip Mustang and looking to significantly boost power in the upper RPM range, this COMP Cams XFI NSR camshaft set is designed for that purpose. These camshafts are specifically tuned to deliver strong power gains typically seen between 5500 and 7200 RPM, making them ideal for serious performance applications where you need the engine to pull hard at higher engine speeds.

This set features a hydraulic roller design that works with the Coyote engine's DOHC setup and utilizes swinging/finger followers. The 'NSR' in the name stands for 'No Springs Required,' which is a notable feature simplifying installation by not requiring a new valve spring kit. For optimal performance, this cam set is recommended for use with full-length headers and a rear gear ratio of 3.73 or higher. It's important to note that this camshaft upgrade requires custom ECU programming to properly manage the new valve timing and fuel delivery.
