This is a raised, two-piece adjustable guide plate from COMP Cams, designed specifically for Big Block Chevrolet engines displacing 396 to 454 cubic inches. It's built to work with 7/16" rocker studs and 3/8" diameter pushrods. The design accounts for aftermarket heads like RHS that have relocated intake ports, ensuring a proper fit and function.
The guide plate is hardened and finished with a black oxide coating for improved durability. Its two-piece, bolt-together construction allows for adjustability, and it's contoured and clearanced to work around head bolts. This part is made using stereo lithography techniques, which helps ensure an accurate fit right out of the box.
