If you're building a serious street or race machine with a supercharger on your 2003-2008 Dodge 5.7L or 6.1L HEMI, this COMP Cams HRT Blower Stage 2 Hydraulic Roller Camshaft is a key component. This camshaft is specifically designed to work with forced induction, aiming to unlock significant power gains when paired with larger blowers and other supporting modifications. It's engineered for high-RPM performance, making it suitable for demanding builds that push beyond typical street use.

The HRT series camshafts utilize advanced lobe designs from COMP Cams, featuring what they call 'Low Shock Technology.' This means the lobe profiles are shaped to maximize horsepower and torque while maintaining stability at higher engine speeds. Importantly, these profiles are also gentler on your valve springs, which can lead to improved durability and less load loss over time. To further enhance strength and performance, these camshafts undergo a Micro Surface Enhancement (MSE) finishing process. This treatment reduces surface roughness and significantly increases the effective load-bearing area, allowing the camshaft to handle higher stresses found in boosted applications.

This Stage 2 camshaft is intended for more race-oriented builds and is dyno-tested to perform well beyond 7500 RPM.
