This helps prevent excessive oiling at higher speeds. The pushrod seat itself is constructed from a special powdered metal iron alloy that's heat-treated for improved strength and wear resistance. These lifters are a solid option for Chevrolet Small Block, Big Block, and various 6-cylinder engines, including the 153 C.I. 4 Cylinder, 194-292, and 200-262 displacements.
