Starting with a patented orifice metering valve, these COMP Cams High Energy hydraulic lifters are built to precisely control oil flow to your rocker arms. This design helps maintain continuous contact between the metering valve and the pushrod seat, preventing excessive oiling at higher RPMs. The pushrod seat itself is constructed from a heat-treated powdered metal iron alloy, ensuring strength and resistance to wear over time.

These lifters also feature a longer piston than conventional designs, which increases the load-bearing surface area and contributes to greater longevity. The lightweight check valve disc is a key component, allowing for quicker response and improved control at all engine speeds and loads.
