Starting with a .875-inch diameter and a specific 2.02-inch seat height, these COMP Cams High Energy hydraulic lifters are built for Ford V8 engines. They feature a patented orifice metering valve that precisely controls oil flow to the rocker arms, ensuring continuous contact and preventing excessive oiling at higher RPMs. This design helps maintain consistent performance across a range of engine speeds and loads.

The pushrod seat is constructed from a heat-treated powdered metal iron alloy, chosen for its strength and wear resistance.
