Product Details
You get a set of 16 ID Spring Seats in this package. These are designed to handle the high spring pressures and RPMs found in performance engines. They act as a hardened steel alloy seat that protects both the cylinder head and the shim underneath. More importantly, they help locate and hold the valve spring securely in place, preventing unwanted movement.
Unlike older designs that required machining the cylinder head to fit an outer locating cup, these feature an inboard locating shoulder. This means the locating shoulder is on the inside, making installation simpler. They are made from hardened steel, offering a strong and durable seat for your valve springs. The 1.550" outer diameter and .570" inner diameter are a good match for popular COMP Cams dual valve springs like the 925 and 939 models.
