COMP Cams offers a smart solution with these ID Spring Seats. They're designed to protect your cylinder head and the shim itself, while also keeping the valve spring properly located.
These aren't your typical shims. They're made from a thin, hardened steel alloy that's built to withstand the rigors of racing. Unlike older designs that required significant machining to fit, COMP Cams' new I.D. locator style has the locating shoulder on the inside, fitting directly into the spring cup. This makes installation much simpler, especially if your heads haven't been modified for spring locators before. This set includes 100 seats, each measuring 1.655 inches in outer diameter and 0.570 inches in inner diameter, with a thickness of 0.060 inches.
