They're designed to protect your cylinder head and the shim itself, while also keeping the spring securely in place.
Unlike older designs that required extensive machining to fit an outer cup, these seats feature an inside diameter (I.D.) locator. This means the locating shoulder is on the inside, making installation simpler. They're made from a thin, hardened steel alloy that's built to withstand the demands of racing applications. This set includes 100 seats, giving you plenty for a complete engine build.
