These ID Spring Seats from COMP Cams offer a straightforward fix. They create a thin, hardened steel alloy seat that shields your cylinder head and the shim beneath it, while also precisely locating and securing the valve spring.
Unlike older designs that required significant cylinder head machining, these locators feature an inboard shoulder. This design centers the seat and keeps the spring firmly in place. The hardened steel alloy construction ensures durability under demanding conditions. This set includes 16 spring seats, each with a 1.270-inch outer diameter and a 0.520-inch inner diameter, and a thickness of 0.060 inches.
