The pushrod is a critical part of your engine's valve train, connecting the lifter to the rocker arm. COMP Cams Hi-Tech pushrods are built to handle the demands of high-RPM, race-oriented engines where strength and durability are essential. They are designed to resist bending and wear at the ends, ensuring consistent valve train operation.
These pushrods are constructed from a single piece of seamless .080-inch wall chromemoly steel tubing, which offers excellent strength without adding unnecessary weight. The ends are precision-formed to add thickness and strength where it's needed most, while the entire pushrod is heat-treated to ensure compatibility with guide plates and maintain its shape under stress. They are also OD ground for consistent diameter and finished with a black oxide coating, making them easy to identify with laser-etched length and part numbers.
