COMP Cams Pushrod 8.150in Straight 7/16

When you're rebuilding the top end of your engine, you get one 8.150-inch long pushrod in this package. It's made from a single piece of heat-treated chromemoly tubing, which is a strong material that can handle the high impact loads found in racing applications, up to 7500 lbs. This pushrod is designed with a 7/16-inch diameter for added stiffness and a higher natural frequency, which is beneficial if your engine has plenty of intake port and lifter clearance.

The ends of this pushrod feature a 5/16-inch ball with a 210-degree radius. This design helps provide extra clearance for the rocker arm adjuster, especially at high lift, and allows the pushrod to be installed in either orientation. Unlike common pushrods with thinner walls, this one maintains a consistent .165-inch wall thickness, even in the tapered sections. This thicker wall makes it stiffer and stronger, better suited for demanding valve train setups compared to designs with .080-inch or .125-inch walls.
