Starting with a .165-inch wall thickness, these COMP Cams pushrods are built significantly stiffer and stronger than common .080-inch or .125-inch wall designs. This robust construction, made from one-piece, heat-treated chromemoly tubing in the USA, is crucial for handling the extreme impact loads, up to 7500 lbs, experienced in high-performance valve train setups. The 7/16-inch diameter offers increased stiffness and a higher natural frequency, which is a notable advantage when you have ample intake port and lifter clearance.

These pushrods feature a straight 7/16-inch outer diameter that tapers down to a 5/16-inch ball end.
