Starting with a .165" wall thickness, these COMP Cams pushrods are built from one-piece, heat-treated 4130 chromemoly steel tubing. This construction makes them stiffer and stronger than previous .125" wall offerings, which translates directly into more accurate valve motion and better durability for your engine's valvetrain.
The dual taper design is a smart choice for applications needing extra clearance. The middle of the pushrod is larger in diameter than the ends, offering the benefits of a beefier 7/16" pushrod while still providing the clearance of a 3/8" option. This taper helps clear the top of most offset roller lifters and provides additional clearance for the rocker arm adjuster at peak lift, which can be important for higher-flowing intake ports.
These pushrods are made in the U.S.A. and feature 5/16" ball ends with a 210° radius, ensuring a solid connection and proper contact with your rocker arms and lifters.
