COMP Cams Pushrod 8.350in Straight 7/16

Starting with a consistent .165" wall thickness, even in the tapered ends, these COMP Cams pushrods are built to handle more than your average set. This thicker wall design means they are stiffer and stronger than common .080" or .125" wall pushrods, which is crucial for extreme valve train setups. They are made in the USA from one-piece, heat-treated chromemoly tubing, a material that's significantly stronger than typical 1000 Series steels and can better withstand the impact loads experienced in high-performance engines, sometimes up to 7500 lbs.

The 7/16" diameter offers additional stiffness and a higher natural frequency, which is a notable advantage when you have ample intake port and lifter clearance. The 5/16" ball ends on each end are designed with radii that provide extra clearance for the rocker adjuster at high lift, and they allow the pushrods to be installed either way. This technology was originally developed for NASCAR and NHRA race engines, so you know they're built for demanding conditions.
