COMP Cams Pushrod 8.650in Straight 7/16

If you're rebuilding the top end of your engine or upgrading your valvetrain, getting the right pushrods is crucial. These COMP Cams pushrods are built with technology originally developed for NASCAR and NHRA racing, where pushrods can experience impact loads of up to 7,500 lbs. Using the wrong ones in a high-performance setup can lead to serious problems.

These pushrods feature a straight 7/16" diameter, which offers more stiffness and a higher natural frequency compared to common .080" or .125" wall designs. The main body is 7/16" OD, tapering down to a 210° radius at the ends. This design, along with the 5/16" ball ends, provides extra clearance for the rocker adjuster at high lift. They are made in the USA from one-piece, heat-treated chromemoly tubing, which is stronger than typical 1000 Series steels and handles extreme valvetrain setups much better. The consistent .165" wall thickness, even in the tapered ends, adds to their strength and durability.
