This 9.350-inch long, straight pushrod from COMP Cams is built with technology originally developed for NASCAR and NHRA racing, where pushrods can see impact loads up to 7500 lbs.

This pushrod features a 7/16-inch diameter for improved stiffness and a higher natural frequency, which is a significant advantage when you have ample intake port and lifter clearance. The .165-inch wall thickness is notably thicker and stronger than common .080-inch or .125-inch wall designs, even in the tapered ends. It's made in the USA from one-piece, heat-treated chromemoly tubing, which is much stronger than typical 1000 Series steels and better suited for extreme valvetrain setups. The 5/16-inch ball ends have radii that offer extra clearance for the rocker adjuster at high lift, and they allow the pushrod to be installed either way.
