COMP Cams Pushrod 9.700in Straight 7/16

What you get with this part is a single, 9.700-inch long pushrod. It's made from one piece of heat-treated chromemoly tubing, which is a strong material that can handle a lot of stress. This pushrod has a 7/16-inch diameter for extra stiffness and a consistent .165-inch wall thickness, even in the tapered ends. That's a lot thicker and stronger than the common .080-inch or .125-inch wall designs you might see elsewhere.

The technology behind this pushrod was originally developed for NASCAR and NHRA race engines, where pushrods can experience impact loads up to 7500 lbs. The 7/16-inch diameter and the material it's made from give it a higher natural frequency, which is a big help in applications where you have plenty of intake port and lifter clearance. Both ends have a 5/16-inch ball end with a 210-degree radius. This design helps provide extra clearance for the rocker adjuster when you're running high lift cams, and it also means you can install the pushrod either way up.
