This set includes sixteen (16) COMP Cams pushrods, each measuring 9.800 inches long with a 7/16-inch diameter and a .165-inch wall thickness. These pushrods are built for demanding valve train setups, incorporating technology originally developed for NASCAR and NHRA racing engines where impact loads can reach up to 7500 lbs.
Constructed from one-piece, heat-treated chromemoly tubing made in the USA, these pushrods are significantly stronger and stiffer than those with common .080 or .125-inch wall designs. The 7/16-inch diameter offers increased stiffness and a higher natural frequency, which is beneficial in applications with ample intake port and lifter clearance. Each end features a 5/16-inch ball end with a radius, providing extra clearance for the rocker adjuster at high lift and allowing for installation in either orientation.
