These COMP Cams pushrods are made from one-piece, heat-treated chromemoly tubing, a material that's notably stronger than typical 1000 Series steels. This makes them a solid choice for handling extreme valve train setups where pushrods can experience impact loads up to 7500 lbs. The 7/16" diameter offers increased stiffness and a higher natural frequency, which is a significant advantage when you have ample intake port and lifter clearance.
Each end of these 9.900" long pushrods features a 5/16" ball end with a 210° radius. This design helps provide extra clearance for the rocker adjuster at high lift, and it also allows the pushrods to be installed in either orientation. You'll find the .165" wall thickness is consistent, even in the tapered ends, offering more strength than common .080" or .125" wall designs. These are made in the USA and were developed using technology originally seen in NASCAR and NHRA race engines.
