When you're building or rebuilding an engine, especially one that's going to see high RPMs, the pushrods are a critical part of the valve train that you can't overlook. COMP Cams Hi-Tech pushrods are made to handle the demands of serious performance applications. They are constructed from a single piece of .080-inch wall, seamless chromemoly tubing, which gives them a lot of strength and durability.
The ends of these pushrods are precision formed to add thickness and strength right where it's needed most, while keeping the wall thickness consistent. They're also heat-treated to make sure they can handle working with guide plates, and then OD ground for uniformity. You can easily identify them because they have a black oxide finish, and the length and part number are laser etched right onto the pushrod.
