Starting with a .080" wall thickness from seamless chromemoly tubing, these COMP Cams Hi-Tech pushrods are built to handle the demands of high-RPM engines. They're a critical part of your valve train, and taking them for granted can lead to bent or damaged components. This one-piece design ensures consistent wall thickness and concentricity, which is important for smooth operation.
The ends are precision formed to add strength right where it's needed most, and the entire pushrod is heat-treated to make sure it works well with guide plates. They're also OD ground for consistency and finished with a black oxide coating. Each pushrod has its length and part number laser etched on it, making identification straightforward when you're putting your engine back together.
