Product Details
The pushrod is a critical, yet often overlooked, part of your engine's valve train. It transfers the motion from the camshaft to the rocker arms, and it needs to be strong enough to handle the forces involved, especially at higher RPMs. COMP Cams Hi-Tech pushrods are built to meet the demands of performance engines.
These pushrods are constructed from a single piece of seamless .080-inch wall chromemoly steel tubing, which gives them excellent strength and durability. The ends are precision formed to add thickness and strength where it's needed most, while maintaining consistent wall thickness. They're also heat-treated to ensure they work well with guide plates and are OD ground for consistent diameter. Each pushrod is finished with a black oxide coating and has its length and part number laser etched on it for easy identification.
