Product Details
The pushrod is a critical, often overlooked, part of your engine's valve train. It transfers the motion from the lifter to the rocker arm, and needs to be strong enough to handle high RPMs and the forces involved without bending or failing. COMP Cams Hi-Tech pushrods are built to meet the demands of performance engines.
These pushrods are made from a single piece of seamless chromemoly steel tubing with a .080" wall thickness. The ends are precision formed for added strength in the tip area, and the whole piece is heat-treated to ensure it can handle guide plates. They're also OD ground for consistent diameter and finished with a black oxide coating. Each pushrod has its length and part number laser etched on it, making identification easy.
